I assume this is what star American athletes who are too dumb to pass traffic planning are enrolled in to keep their grade point averages high enough to play.

Of course, every Canadian student spends several years studying Canadian history and social studies. Everybody says publically it is essential to a well-rounded education and everybody agrees privately it is mind-numbingly boring. No really, you haven't experienced the thrill and power of history until you have spent weeks studying the 1864 Charlottetown Conference that led to Confederation. Goes a long way to explaining how we manage to be a world leader in neurotic niceness.

Did you know?
Canada is the second largest country in the world but has the smallest economy among the most advanced countries in the world?

Hey, Yankee, was that a compliment or an insult? Wanna step outside?

Peter, I'm real confused. The last sentence in your comment above implies that you want to fight!!!! Are you then like those contentious Yankee traders?

Looks like the Canadian Studies programs might not be foolish wastes of time, but necessary educational tools to steer the errant back to the path of righteous pacifism and hopefully make some converts from among the scholars at SUNY Plattsburgh.
